"When times are most challenging, it is a call to listen within. We discover our inner wisdom is as natural, beautiful, and vast as the sea."
I strive to provide a safe, warm, enlightening therapy environment for personal growth. I am both a Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who uses a holistic, person-centered approach. My psychotherapy approach uses insight, bibliotherapy, eastern methods (meditation), hypnotherapy tools, EMDR, and creativity to help individuals, couples, and families find healing in their lives. I feel inspired and ho nored to help people find meaning from their personal struggle and create balance in their lives.

My Therapeutic Approach
I blend a variety of creative tools and techniques, depending on the needs and personality of the individual. In general, I use a personalized, holistic counseling approach to treat all levels of the person; the emotional, mental, and spiritual.
The following is my general model:
Insight + Skills + Support + Meaning-Making = Personal Growth
Change is about developing insight; holding a deeper, more compassionate understanding of yourself and those around you.
To grow, we all must let go of old, unhealthy ways of coping and learn new ways of viewing ourselves, others, and life. With support and nonjudgmental encouragement, new insights and skills evolve and new choices emerge. We begin to recognize and allow new feelings and thoughts, which allow for new choices in your life. With new skills and awareness, self-worth can grow and one's experience of life becomes richer, fuller. Ultimately, this allows the possibility to uncover new meaning in personal challenge and to appreciate the life lessons we seek to master.
In sum, the therapeutic process is a warm, reflective space that fosters self-other awareness and compassion to bring about a richer, more balanced life. Psychotherapy that is holistic addresses all levels of a person, using intuitive inner wisdom and the body's ability to heal itself to find greater balance and wellness.
